You want the 12th, a short par 3 surrounded by rough on three sides. The pin should be in the centre of the green near the back edge. Your aim is to put the ball in the rough just off the green behind it. Take a few shots to set it up if needed. The ball should be in the rough, but within a foot of the edge of the strip of fairway. Press down on the left stick to check your lie to make sure it is indeed in the rough.

Even the better players have a tendency to get a little off. Here I am working with one of my college level players. If for some reason, the position of the ball is a little off in your set-up, it can cause compensation moves during your swing. With the short irons, the tendency is to play the ball near the middle of your stance. However, keep in mind that every player has a ball position that will be more precise. Not everyone will play the ball in the exact same place. If you not sure if your ball is in the right place for your swing, please consult your local PGA Teaching Professional.

PGA Tour 2005 is hands down the best golf game ever made. I like the Gamecube version the best because the game feels like it was made to be used with the GC controller. It's cheap as hell these days. The graphics and gameplay hold up really well. This was played on the Wii console with component output for optimal video quality. ***NOTE: For all my videos uploaded, I own a physical copy of the game and the respected system to play it on. No piracy or emulation is used in any of my videos.***
